What other professions have you tried?

I have been in insurance for so long that I don't feel anything else even counts, but I was a secretary in the banking industry prior to my insurance career.

Why did you choose insurance as a profession?

Insurance chose me. I started as a part time receptionist and my career evolved from there.

Why Henriott?

Henriott has high standards for the service we want to provide our clients and has a good reputation in the community. And I just like it here!

Do you volunteer anywhere? If so, where and why?

Read to Succeed volunteer.

Serve in the nursery at my church.

Regular blood donor.

Volunteering is two-fold -- it meets a need and, and at the same time lifts up the one volunteering.

What was your favorite TV show growing up?

The Andy Griffith Show. Fun fact -- my sister lives in the town (Mt. Airy NC) where Andy Griffith grew up as a boy and the show was based on, so there is a lot of memorabilia there that takes me back to my childhood.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People who are perpetually late.

If you could choose one amenity to add to your workplace, what would it be?

A fountain pop machine.

What was your all-time best Halloween costume?

I don't remember any of my own, but I remember dressing my daughter up as a Christmas present when she was about six years old. I wrapped a big box in Christmas paper, cut a hole in the top and the sides for her head and arms, she wore red tights on her legs and a big red bow in her hair. I thought it was pretty clever since I am not typically very creative.

What’s the one dish you absolutely, positively will never, ever eat?

Liver and Onions. While I love onions, the liver just ruins it.

If you could close your eyes and be anywhere on earth when they opened, where would you be?

At the beach -- any beach, anywhere.

If you could be on any TV game show, which on would it be?

I'd like to say Jeopardy, but, trust me, that's not a possibility, so I would pick Family Feud.

Who did you first see live in concert?

Three Dog Night
