Expertise and Importance of My Role: Since 2010 I have worked in the insurance profession. My first position was with Lafayette Life Insurance Company, first in New Business then in life insurance underwriting. I started with Henriott Group, Inc in 2011 to work with the worksite life insurance program and individual life clients. I still spend about 25% of my time helping families learn how to protect themselves in the event of death.

I was first certified to write Medicare for the 2013 year. This was a new department for Henriott Group and now the senior solutions department has helped over 2000 people with their retirement health decisions.

Problems I Solve: I help simplify a confusing topic and make people feel better about their transition to Medicare. Making people understand the importance of timely decisions for health insurance upon retirement is one of my specialties no matter what age a person decides to retire.

Education: B.S. Ball State University in Family and Consumer Sciences, Minor in Business Marketing. Indiana Life and Health License, Certified Medicare Advisor, Federally Facilitated Marketplace Certification

About Me: I live in Lafayette, Indiana and have lived here for most of my life. We have 4 sons that I was blessed to stay home with for 12 years. My husband and I have spent countless hours at athletic events of all kinds with them. Our record was 198 baseball games over 100 days. It was a fun and tiring spring/summer. Now that our sports days are dwindling down, we enjoy traveling, relaxing by the pool, hanging with friends and family and paying for college (not really the last part).
